หนึ่งบทบาทของนักกิจกรรมบำบัดที่สำคัญ คือบทบาทในฝ่ายเด็ก ซึ่งในปัจจุบันเด็กที่มีความบกพร่องก็มีจำนวนเพิ่มมากขึ้น ในบทความนี้ ดิฉันขอนำเสนอข้อมูลการสัมมนาในหัวข้อ “กิจกรรมบำบัดในฝ่ายเด็ก” โดย ดร.กันนิกา เพิ่มพูนพัฒนา มีรายละเอียดดังต่อไปนี้ค่ะ

One important role of occupational therapy is pediatric clients. Children with disabilities have increased. In this blog I would like to present a seminar on the topic "Occupational therapist in pediatric” by Dr.Kannika Permpoonpattana.

 

อะไรคือภารกิจที่สำคัญของนักกิจกรรมบำบัดฝ่ายเด็ก

What is the key mission of the occupational therapist in pediatric clients?

สิ่งที่สำคัญสำหรับนักกิจกรรมในฝ่ายเด็ก คือการบำบัดฟื้นฟูความสามารถของเด็ก เพื่อส่งเสริมให้สามารถทำกิจกรรมการดำเนินชีวิตได้ รวมถึงมีพัฒนาการที่ใกล้เคียงกับเด็กปกติมากที่สุด นอกจากนี้ควรมีการให้ความรู้และการแนะนำญาติ หรือผู้ปกครองในการทำโปรแกรมการฝึกด้วยตนเอง เนื่องจากเด็กที่มีความบกพร่องนั้นควรได้รับการบำบัดฟื้นฟูอย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งจะส่งผลให้การบำบัดฟื้นฟูความสามารถของเด็กมีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น

Developmental rehabilitation in children is important to promote them. The occupational therapy should be suggested care giver or their parent about rehabilitation program and support children to do activity. So when OT and care giver do this, children could be progress.

 

นักกิจกรรมบำบัดมีความมั่นใจอย่างไรว่าการบำบัดฟื้นฟูสำหรับผู้รับบริการฝ่ายเด็กมีคุณภาพ

How does the occupational therapist ensure quality of intervention for pediatric clients?

การบำบัดฟื้นฟูอย่างมีคุณภาพ นักกิจกรรมควรประเมิน วางแผนการรักษา และการบำบัดฟื้นฟูเด็กได้อย่างตรงเป้าหมาย หรือตรงปัญหาของเด็ก รวมถึงมีการส่งเสริมพัฒนาการให้เหมาะสมตามวัย หรือความสามารถที่เป็นไปได้ของเด็ก

Quality of treatment, the occupational therapist should evaluate, set goal and give intervention for pediatric clients including the promotion of the development of the appropriate age.

 

อะไรคือสิ่งที่เป็นจุดแข็ง จุดอ่อน ภัยคุกคามและโอกาสของนักกิจกรรมบำบัดฝ่ายเด็กในไทย

What are the Thai pediatric occupational therapist strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities?

ในการบำบัดฟื้นฟูของเด็กเพียงสัปดาห์ละ 1 ครั้งนั้นไม่เพียงพอต่อเด็ก เนื่องจากระยะเวลาที่จำกัด และนักกิจกรรมบำบัดที่มีไม่เพียงพอต่อความต้องการ ทำให้เป็นจุดที่ควรพัฒนาเพิ่มขึ้น

The rehabilitation of the child only one time per week is not sufficient to children. Due to the limited time and occupational Therapists are not enough. So we should improve more.

 

นักกิจกรรมบำบัดใช้กลยุทธ์อะไรในผู้รับบริการฝ่ายเด็กและมีวิธีอย่างไรให้ประสบความสำเร็จ

What strategies are being used of occupational therapist in pediatric clients and how have these successes?

สิ่งที่สำคัญสำหรับนักกิจกรรมบำบัดในฝ่ายเด็ก คือการประเมิน และวางแผนการบำบัดฟื้นฟูให้ตรงกับปัญหาของเด็ก และตรงตามเป้าหมายของผู้ปกครองด้วยส่วนหนึ่ง นอกจากนี้ยังควรมีการปรับ และประยุกต์กิจกรรมให้เหมาะสมกับเด็กแต่ละคน

The occupational therapists have appropriately assessment to meet the problems of children including plan of treatment and intervention as well. OT should be share and suggest their parents. In addition, OT should be adapt and applied activities to suit each child.

What have you learned about CMU-OT leading to build/create MU-OT?

จากการเรียนทำให้เราได้รับความรู้ แต่สิ่งที่จะนำมาต่อยอดคือการพัฒนา มีความคิดสร้างสรรค์ในการปรับ และการประยุกต์กิจกรรม อุปกรณ์ หรือรูปแบบการบำบัดฟื้นฟูเพื่อให้เข้ากับบริบทที่แตกต่างกัน

We could creative and adapt to the context of the client appropriately and learning about different cultures and traditions as well.

 

อะไรคือสิ่งที่คุณเห็นในอนาคตในฐานะนักกิจกรรมบำบัดฝ่ายเด็กและวิธีการที่นำไปสู่ความสำเร็จ

What do you see in the future as occupational therapist in pediatric clients and how is this lead to success?

อยากเห็นนักกิจกรรมบำบัดเข้าถึงในทุกบริบท ทุกสังคม ทุกชุมชน ทั้งโรงพยาบาล โรงเรียน หรือชุมชน เพื่อการพัฒนาความสามารถของเด็กอย่างต่อเนื่อง และมีประสิทธิภาพเพิ่มมากขึ้น

I would like to the therapists accesses in every context, society, community including hospital, school, or community to develop the abilities of children.

 

จากวัฒนธรรมและประเพณีของสังคมไทยสามารถนำมาประยุกต์ในทางกิจกรรมบำบัดได้อย่างไร

On the issue of Thai community/ society/ culture that can use your occupational therapy professional skills are particularly interesting to you?

ในวัฒนธรรมและประเพณีของไทยในแต่ละภูมิภาคมีความหลากหลาย และอาจมีความแตกต่างกันไป นักกิจกรรมบำบัดควรมีการวิเคราะห์ หรือการคำนึงถึงในแต่ละบริบท มีอะไรที่เป็นข้อจำกัดหรือการขัดขวางในการทำกิจกรรมของเด็กแต่ละคน ควรให้คำแนะนำญาติในการส่งเสริมให้เด็กได้มีโอกาสในการเข้าร่วมสังคม และการทำกิจกรรมการดำเนินชีวิตได้ด้วยตนเองมากที่สุด

Thailand culture and traditions of each region are diverse. Therapists should be analyzed or regardless of the context. What are the limitations in the activity of each child? OT Should suggest care giver to support and promote child to do every activity independently.

 

สิ่งที่คุณเห็นเกี่ยวกับกิจกรรมบำบัดฝ่ายเด็กใน 5 หรือ 10 ปีข้างหน้า

What do you see Thai occupational therapist in pediatric clients five/ten years from now?

ในปัจจุบันมีเด็กที่มีความบกพร่องจำนวนไม่น้อย และผู้ปกครองหรือผู้ดูแลก็ยังขาดความรู้ความเข้าใจในการดูแลเด็ก ดังนั้นจึงอยากเห็นนักกิจกรรมบำบัดมีบทบาทในการส่งเสริม และป้องกัน รวมถึงการให้ความรู้แก่ผู้ปกครองในการดูแลเด็ก และส่งเสริมพัฒนาการของเด็กได้อย่างถูกต้อง

Currently, there are children with disabilities not less and the parents also lack of child care. So I would like to see the occupational therapists have role in the promotion and protection, including educating parents in child care and development of the child correctly.

 

ในปี 2015 ประเทศไทยเป็นหนึ่งในสมาชิกของประชาคมเศรษฐกิจอาเซียน คุณคิดว่าเป็นผลดีหรือผลเสียต่อนักกิจกรรมบำบัดไทย

In 2015, Thailand as a member of Asian community, what do you think that AEC is positive or negative impacts for Thai occupational therapist in pediatric clients?

เนื่องด้วยนักกิจกรรมบำบัดจำนวนหนึ่งอาจมีข้อจำกัดทางด้านภาษาทำให้ขาดโอกาสในการปฏิบัติงานในต่างประเทศ แต่ในขณะเดียวกันหากนักกิจกรรมบำบัดมีความสามารถทางด้านภาษาก็จะทำให้มีโอกาสในการเข้าร่วมการทำงานกับต่างประเทศเช่นเดียวกัน

Some therapist may be limited by barrier language so they may lack of opportunity to practice in a foreign country. But in the meantime, if therapist is capable of language, it is a chance to join with other countries to work as well.
