It's Friday again. My sons' grandma is being in hospital for almost 3 months now. She's moved to Hadyai by an ambulance after the flood in Bangkok. She was at our house for only a few days before being moved to the hospital with pneumonia and UTI. Now she is much better without any infection but she still has to stay in hospital because of her excess sputum production and her breathing difficulty. We try our best to get what ever best for her but it's never been an easy life for her anymore. To make her physically happy is impossible but we try hard to help her mind.

During this time what help us through is the Buddha's quote:

"Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment."

I think this can also be a useful thought for everyone. We don't know what will happen the next day. We cannot change what's already happened. What we can do is right here in front of us. Do your best in everything you have to do and be prepare for all the consequences. Be mindful for everyone around us.

Have a good weekend!
