ระหว่างเวลา ๑๔.๐๐-๑๕.๐๐ น. ดิฉันเข้าฟังเรื่อง D-NET: A new forum for diabetes educators ที่ห้อง Umm Al Qwain Speaker คือ H.McGuire จาก Belgium ใน Programme Book บอกว่าเป็น workshop (Workshops will include the discussion of specific topics accompanied by practical demonstrations, problem-solving or hands-on training sessions)
วิทยากรเริ่มด้วยความสำคัญของเบาหวาน ปัญหา healthcare workforce เช่น ต้องการผู้นำและผู้นำการเปลี่ยนแปลง การฝึกอบรมต่างๆ ยังไม่มีมาตรฐาน ความหมายของ CoPs ตามของ Wengers, 1998 Components ของ Social theory of learning บทบาทของผู้นำและสมาชิก
เท่าที่ฟังได้ เข้าใจว่า D-NET เป็น forum ที่ผ่านทาง web มีข้อมูลว่า community or target audience เป็นวิชาชีพอะไรบ้าง ประเทศอะไร (ไม่มีไทย) Domain of interest คืออะไร กิจกรรม เช่น discuss events, library, specialty “rooms” , education programme profiles, videos, quizzes, diabetes facts เรื่องใหม่ๆ
มีการ evaluation และ survey comments
Challenges
- Inactivity after an event
- Internet connectivity in developing countries/ ease of use
- Concerns regarding confidentiality
- Lack of real time discussion
- Limited time to participate
- Language
- Fluidity of membership
- etc.
Recommendations เช่น define aim and strategy, match technology, moderators, monitor (to ensure quality and appropriateness of information), specific topics for discussion, member profile...
สรุป D-NET is a CoP that is international interactive and interdiciplinary... วิทยากรบอกว่า Virtue (น่าจะเป็น virtual) communities of practice are one solution และให้ URL: www.d-net.idf.org ดิฉันทดลองเข้าไปที่นี่แต่ Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage พอจะหาข้อมูลได้บ้างที่นี่
