ติดต่อแต่ไม่ได้สื่อสาร  คนไทยส่วนมากได้แต่ส่งต่อ Forward อีแมล แต่ไม่ยอมที่จะเสียเวลาแม้แต่จะเขียนข้อความแม้แต่คำเดียว  คนรับอยากจะรู้เรื่องราวที่เกี่ยวขึ้นกับผู้ส่งมากกว่าข้อความในอีแมล  คุณว่าจริงหรือเปล่า

อนุทินข้างบนนี้เขียนไว้ตั้งแต่ปีที่แล้ว   

วันนี้ได้รับอีแมลจากเพื่อนร่วมทำงานซึ่งลาออกจากงานเมื่อเดือนเมษายน  เธอคนนี้เป็นคนที่แนะนำผมให้ซื้อกล้องดีๆมาใช้  เพราะเป็นนักถ่ายรูปด้วยกัน  ได้รับจดหมายแล้วดีใจ เพราะความคิดที่ผมเคยเขียนมา เป็นความจริงสำหรับผม  ถ้าเธอเพียงแต่ forward email มาให้ ผมก็คงจะรู้สึกเฉยๆ เพราะไม่รู้จะตอบกลับอย่างไร ข้างล่างเป็นข้อความของอีแมลเธอครับ

Last night we were watching a travel show about Thailand.  It really made me miss you.  I realized that I didn't even know what part of Thailand you are from.
 
So how is everything with you?  How is work?
 
All is well here.  Every day is a joy.  Every hour is a joy.  We're in the middle of a huge home project now -- we're having painters paint almost all the interior walls of our house.  So there are tarps and paint pails and disruption everywhere.  But it's going to be beautiful when it's done.
 
We had a great time camping a couple weeks ago.  The temperature got down to 26 degrees the first night, which I think is the coldest night we have ever spent in a tent.  But we were cozy warm wrapped in all our sheepskins.
 
I miss my Company family, but I sure don't miss the work.  I'll stop by the office sometime this summer and I'll be sure to stop by your cube.  Until then... take good care of yourself.
