Christmas in London.
Part 1
It is a family gathering event for once a year that every member of the family will come home no matter where they are. This is the time of joy and celebration.
Christmas Eve is on 24th December where family members will have Christmas Roat Dinner. And the children will look forward to the morning of 25th December where they can open their presents (from Santa) under the Chirstmas tree. But adults like me will look forwards to the major London's sale o 26th Dec. It is called the Boxing day and most of the brands will be discounted from 50% up to 70% which is only once a year famous sales!!!
Normally I had a chance to come back home every Chirstmas too. Our term break will be for 3 weeks to a month, and the weather is so cold during Nov - Dec..
Most shops and restaurants are closed during Christmas time, supermarkets and underground also closed earlier than usual. For people who never spent their time in London during Christmas will not be prepared. So the tips are..
1. stock up food and drink..enough for a few days.. as all the shops will be closed.
2. check time and transportation method if you need to go somewhere.. as public transports (i.e bus and trains) will be closed early.
So hopefully you will be able to see the snow as this is the coldest time in London (Dec - Feb), keep yourself warm and go celebrate!!!
