เป็นโปรแกรม compression util ที่ผมชอบมากตัวหนึ่ง ฟรี! และมากความสามารถ

ส่วน winzip ที่หลายๆ คนรู้จักกันดี เกิดมานาน สมัย DOS ผ่านมาสิบปี ก็ไม่ได้พัฒนาเท่าไหร่ ไม่ว่าจะเรื่อง feature หรือ algorithm ในการ compress ซึ่งมีประสิทธิภาพน้อยเมื่อเทียบกับตัวอื่นๆ ก็เลยไม่ทำให้ผมประทับใจเท่าไหร่ แต่อย่างไรก็ตาม ZIP format ก็ถือได้ว่า ได้รับความนิยมมากและใช้กันเยอะรูปแบบหนึ่ง
