บันทึกสั้นฉบับที่สอง ไปเวียดนาม
ความจริงมีเรื่องประทับใจ จากงานอบรมครูต่างชาติ 35 คน ที่ผ่านไปเมื่อ 1-2-3 ตค. สิ่งที่กังวลก็ผ่านพ้นไป และเกิดความสำเร็จเกินกว่าที่คาดหมาย .. ที่หนักใจและเหนื่อยกายก็หายเป็นปลิดทิ้ง .. แต่เวลานี้ยังไม่สะดวกจึงขอเลื่อนไปก่อน .. ขอแทรกด้วยของง่ายๆคือ สาระที่เขียนส่งไปเวียดนามครับ
เขาขอให้เขียนสิ่งที่พูดเมื่อคราวไปศึกษาดูงานที่เวียดนาม เพื่อใช้ประกอบงาน Conference เรื่อง Application of ICT into Primary Education .. ผัดมาหลายวันจึงเขียนส่งไป .. 2 หน้าครับ .. ข้างล่างนี้คือ หน้าสอง ครับ .. ว่าไปจากความคิด และประสบการณ์ โดยไม่ได้อ้างอิงอะไรเลย .. นี่ไงครับ
How to face “The Flood” of Modern Technology
in Our Changing World.

Today’s Situation
• Various kinds and forms of technology come to us like a big flood.
• Some of us are swimming,escaping or drowning in the rushing water …. filled with mud and dirt.
• Some ( may be very few ) are making full use of modern technology without harming or destroying precious things we possess.
How Did We Get Here?
• Civilization - Modernization - Globalization ... Industrialization .. Coputerization … or just Westernization !
• Stimulating and Advertising are effective tools of the Technology Creators.
• For technology Creators,Technology means “ PROFIT ”
• For us, theTechnology Consumer, Technology = Problem Solving Tools.
• If carelessly used, Technology = Problem Making Tools.
• Three Choices to Choose
1. Refuse it.
2. Use it.
3. Adapt/Use it (if necessary).
My opinions towards Utilization of Educational Technology
• Technology = Problem Solving Tools
• No Problems .. No Need for New Technology
• Learn more and more to adapt /combine new and old Technology to create Appropriate Technology.
• Effective Ed.Media can be made from very simple things surrounding us. No need to be modern.
• Complicated and expensive technology can easily cause complicated problems if .. ???
• Simple words or things can be very effective if they are really meaningful and “Touch the Heart”of the learners.
Do you agree with this ?
• If carelessly used,Technology can also be a “ De-humanizing Tool”.
• We,the technology consumers,must try harder to preserve the correct meaning of technology.
• Technology = Problem Solving Tools.. not a Problem Maker or De-Humanizer.
What to Do Next ?
• The Answers are there infront of us .. Think .. Talk .. Share .. then .. Shine !

สำหรับบันทึกเรื่องนี้ กระผมใช้เวลาอ่านมากกว่าปกติอย่างมีนัยสำคัญ ความเร่งในการอ่านลดลงเหลือ ๕๐ เปอร์เซนต์ เพราะเป็นภาษาต่างด้าวครับ
