Thanks ธ.วั ช ชั ย : I use "ฤ" as a centre point for a bigger picture on Thai language for Tha language teachers and Thai linguists to see and explain (to me and many of us) discrepancies (or exceptions) in Thai language. Thai is our language, our tool for communication, we should know Thai intimately quirks and all. Don't you think?
I accept that languages are alive and undergoing change all the time. I can't remember who once said "a word means what we want it to mean'. I'd add this ' a word is sounded (vocalized) the way we want it to sound -- more or less' ;-)
