ขอยกบทบรรณาธิการนี้มาเพื่อเก็บไว้อ้างอิงนะครับ เขาเขียนว่า

"First of all, why does the ICT Ministry have to hire a private company to do a job an average computer programmer is capable of? The next question is: Does the ICT Ministry have no computer programmers who can fix the problem themselves without needlessly wasting 120 million baht of taxpayers' money?

According to computer experts, the problem can be fixed without much difficulty and, more importantly, without having to spend several million baht. Software programmes to block unwanted websites are already available in the market and can be easily installed without needing to write a new one."

จริงๆ ผมก็ไม่โทษเขานะครับ ด้วยพื้นความรู้ของผู้เขียนและ "computer experts" ที่เขาปรึกษา (ถ้ามีจริง) มันก็ดูเหมือนไม่ใช่เรื่องยากครับ

เอาเข้าจริงแล้ว นี่กลับเป็นตัวสะท้อนปัญหาการศึกษาด้าน ICT ของไทยครับ เราขาดแม้กระทั่งความรู้พื้นฐานว่าอะไรคืออะไรครับ ไม่แปลกใจเลยว่าทำไมคนจบด้านคอมพิวเตอร์จากมหาวิทยาลัยต่างๆ ในประเทศไทย (แม้มหาวิทยาลัยชั้นนำก็ตาม) ต่างตกงานหรือทำงานต่ำกว่าวุฒิกันทั้งสิ้นครับ แต่ความต้องการคนทำงานด้านนี้ของไทยกลับต้องอาศัยคนทำงานจากต่างชาติเกือบทั้งนั้น

กลายเป็นว่าบทบรรณาธิการนี้สะท้อนปัญหาที่ใหญ่กว่าผู้เขียนตั้งใจเขียน (ฮา)
