I think the issue is more about media coverage, not the movie per se. The movie actually sends the message that having kid at a very young age is a bad bad bad idea. I admitted that movie trailer did skew it a little bit but if you really sit and watch the whole movie you get the idea.

This bring us to another issue, parenting. I remembered reading something about <a href="http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0266543/" target="_blank">Finding Nemo (2003)</a> that after kids watch the movie they begged their parent to buy a clownfish, a totally opposite reaction that the filmmakers want their audiences to take! This is where parents come in and explain why they shouldn't put a clownfish an aquarium.

Long story short, Juno was my top five fav last year. It was a scapegoat, not the real culprit.
