This is high definition forecast in place and time. Will [TMD] better that?

Going to [tmd.go.th] to see the situation in southern Thailand today (5 Dec 2025). This is what I saw :

ตั้งแต่จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานีขึ้นมา : ลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ความเร็ว 15 - 30 กม./ชม. ทะเลมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 1  เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ตั้งแต่จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราชลงไป : ลมตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ ความเร็ว 15 - 35 กม./ชม. ทะเลมีคลื่นสูง 1 - 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ส่วนในช่วงวันที่ 7 – 10 ธ.ค. 
ตอนบนของภาค: อากาศเย็นในตอนเช้า โดยมีฝนเล็กน้อยบางแห่ง
ตอนล่างของภาค: มีฝนฟ้าคะนองร้อยละ 10 – 20 ของพื้นที่
ตั้งแต่จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานีขึ้นมา : ลมตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ความเร็ว 15 - 35 กม./ชม. ทะเลมีคลื่นสูง 1 - 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
ตั้งแต่จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราชลงไป : ลมตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ ความเร็ว 20 – 40 กม./ชม. ทะเลมีคลื่นสูงประมาณ 2 เมตร บริเวณที่มีฝนฟ้าคะนองคลื่นสูงมากกว่า 2 เมตร
อุณหภูมิต่ำสุด 19 – 24 องศาเซลเซียส อุณหภูมิสูงสุด 29 – 33 องศาเซลเซียส… 

I looked at [ zoom.earth ] and took a picture :

Please access [zoom.earth] to get the latest forecast. Note that we can zoom in (to 5km / inch, -see bottom right of the picture) to get the forecast of our location. And we can vary the date and time of forecast (see down bottom middle part of the picture) for  the next 2 days.  [Zoom.earth] offers forecast by selectable (Germany) DWD ICON model and (US) NOAA/NCEP/NWS GFS model. Zoom app is also installable from app stores.

Will [TMD] better that?

1. - The Thai Meteorological Department (TMD) uses a variety of forecasting models, including its own TMD-WRFDA for rainfall forecasts and a high-performance computing (HPC) system for other data. The department also uses the Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) model, particularly for high-resolution predictions like rainfall in areas like southern Thailand. In recent news, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society has partnered with Tomorrow.io to pilot a new, NASA-standard system with the goal of improving nationwide disaster warning accuracy and speed. 
Existing models used by TMD

   TMD-WRFDA: A specific model developed by the department for 10-day forecasts, particularly for rainfall.
   Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF) Model: A model that the TMD uses for high-resolution forecasts, including its "WRF BKK Model" for Bangkok and for rainfall predictions in southern Thailand.
   High-Performance Computing (HPC): The TMD uses HPC for its rainfall forecast products and other general weather forecasting.  

2. - The most accurate global weather model is often cited as the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF) model, known for its accuracy in predicting large-scale patterns. More recently, Google has introduced its AI-powered WeatherNext 2 model, which is significantly faster and more accurate, and is beginning to be integrated into Google's products and made available to users.
