Thailand's government must make this issue clear for the people if it hopes to regain people's trust and co-operation.
At this critical time, people have great concerns over government's ability to contain the pandemic (managing infections and deaths of Delta COVID-19 and providing supports for people in financial situations). This issue can greatly erode what good the government has done and quickly create strong negativity to all other development projects.
This issue must be clarified and settled openly to show the managing ability of the government (and The Prime Minister) to conduct its programs in accountable manners.

Though the false positive error of the ATK is of concern in this news item, the result of the use of this ATK in other areas needs more careful considerations.
We need tools (Temperature Scan, self-diagnosis, mask, hand gel, soap, spray, distancing, lock-down, ATK, vaccines, …) to fight COVID-19 and we need to understand limitations of these tools. COVID-19 is not yet defeated.
