เสาวรส (Passion Fruit) บางพื้นที่หรือบางคนเรียกว่า กะทกรกฝรั่ง หรือจะเรียกเป็นภาษาอังกฤษว่า Passion Fruit มีถิ่นกำเนิดอยู่แถวๆ ทวีปอเมริกา แต่ก็เติบโตได้ดีในประเทศไทย ผลมีลักษณะต่างกันไปตามพันธุ์ มีทั้งรูปกลม รูปไข่ สำหรับเนื้อภายใน ก็มีหน้าตาคล้ายทับทิมบ้านเรานี่เอง
