จริงๆแล้วคำว่า does คือการเติม s ที่ท้ายคำว่า do แต่ไม่ได้เติม s เฉยๆ แต่เป็นการเติม es ตามหลักการทางภาษา

do not = don’t ดู น็อท = โดนท
does not = doesn’t ดัส น็อท = ดัสเซินท

1. ประโยคบอกเล่า ( ประธาน + do, does) แปลว่า ทำ จะทำอะไรบ้างนั้น ดูจากตัวอย่างเลย
I do the ironing in the morning. ฉันรีดผ้าในตอนเช้า
You do the laundry everyday. คุณซักผ้าทุกวัน
We do the washing after dinner. พวกเราล้างจานหลังอาหารเย็น
He does homework in the evening. เขาทำการบ้านในตอนเย็น
My mom does housework everyday. แม่ของฉันทำงานบ้านทุกวัน
2. ประโยคบอกเล่า ( ประธาน + do, does+ กริยาช่องที่ 1 (ไม่ต้องเติม s) ) แปลว่า จริงๆ ใช้เพื่อเน้น แต่ไม่ค่อยได้ใช้หรอก ยกตัวอย่างให้ดูเฉยๆ
I do love you. ผมรักคุณจริงๆ
She does clean the floor everyday. หล่อนทำความสะอาดพื้นทุกวันจริงๆ
We do go to school early. พวกเราไปโรงเรียนแต่เช้าจริงๆ

- do + not / does + not ใช้เป็นคำปฏิเสธใน present simple tense

ประโยคคำถาม Yes / No Question
การทำประโยคคำถามให้เอา Do , Does มาวางไว้หน้าประโยค ตามหลักที่ว่า การสร้างประโยคบอกเล่าเป็นคำถามนั้น ถ้าไม่กริยาช่วย (is, am, are/ can/ should/ must) ในประโยค ให้เอา Verb to do มาใช้แทน
ประโยคคำถามแบ่งออกเป็นสองประเด็นคือ ถามในรูปแบบบอกเล่า และถามรูปแบบปฏิเสธ
