Session 1and 2 : Introduction to the economics of services and law of the GATS and Status and future prospects of services in DDA 

Session 3 : How to schedule liberalisation commitments

Session 4: Movement of service suppiers : Mode 4

Session 5: Performing a regulatory audit: addressing the links between the GATS and regulatory reform in services

Session 6: Services trade in ASEAN

Session 7: Services in EU trade policy and FTA negotiations

Session 8: Final Q&A ; discussions ; wrap-up

Module 2 .....Bilateral FTA Negotiations Simulations by Dr.Stephen Woolcock

Session 9 and 10 : Before negotiating: analysis and doing one's homework,establishing interests and preparing positions

การเข้าอบรมครั้งนี้ทำให้ได้เรียนรู้แนวทางและขบวนการทำงานในการเจรจา FTA ทั้ง ทิวภาคี และ พหุภาคี การเจรจาระหว่างประเทศและการเจรจาระหว่างภูมิภาค กับประเทศ และ ภูมิภาคกับภูมืภาค

การเจรจาการเปิดเสรีทางการค้าไม่ใช่เรื่องง่ายๆ แต่ละประเทศต่างระมัดระวังที่จะปกป้องผลประโยชน์ของคนในชาติ นอกเหนือจากนั้นยังมีกฎหมายเกี่ยวข้องอีกมากมาย การพิจารณาเปิดเสรีสักสาขาหนึ่งมีหน่วยงานเกี่ยวข้องหลายหน่ยงานด้วยกัน การเจาราเปิดเสรีการค้าอย่างแท้จริงได้ จะต้องมีการเตรียมตัวภายในประเทศอย่างดี ต้องนำผู้เกี่ยวข้องทั้งหมดมาทำความเข้าใจไม่ว่าจะเป็นประชาชน ผู้ประกอบการ หน่วยงานของภาครัฐทุกภาคส่วนที่เกี่ยวข้อง อุปสรรคและปัญหาที่สำคัญที่สุดอยู่ กฎหมายและการบังคับใช้กฎหมาย ต้องปรับแก้กฎหมายให้เหมาะสม เอื้ออำนวยต่อการเจริญเติบโตของธุรกิจ โปร่งใส ปิดกั้นผู้ประกอบการที่ไม่ดี ทำผิดกฎหมาย กฎหมายต้องปกป้องผลประโยชน์ของประเทศชาติ ไม่ใช่ผลประโยชน์ของคนกลุ่มใดกลุ่มหนึ่ง
