PENGUINS AND GLOBAL WARMING...ผลงานพี่วั้นเมื่อ 3 ปีที่แล้ว
The world is changing, everything around us is melting. Our scientist here in the North Pole have been spying on those two legged creatures for several years and concluded to the fact that they are the ones destroying our world slowly. Our scientist have named those creatures “humans” and classified them in the Homosapiens species. The environment and we penguins weren’t noticed much by those humans a few years ago, but the extinction of many friends has caught their eyes. Due to these eminent and observable changes, some humans have searched for a solution.
The rise of sea levels and the continually non-stop natural calamities have caused havoc throughout the human world. Recently, cyclone Nagis have bought despair and desperation to many people due to the loss of their loved ones. Our experts have determined that global warming may be the reason which causes an increased rate of these natural disasters. Temperature has risen at a faster rate than ever before and predictions have told that if the world was to rise a few more degrees in temperature, half of the world will drown.
Scientists in our land forecast that if we and the humans don’t start doing something soon the end of the world will fall upon us. My friends and I have attempted to plant trees here but the climate isn’t very suitable. Not a single tree has grown here in centuries and I doubt that it will in the future. Although, we penguins can’t be of much help here in the North Pole, people in areas appropriate for forestation should try and plant more trees and lessen the rates that trees are cut down.
Another way we’ve concluded that could help the world is to try and use pure energy, that is, renewable energy. The burning of fossil fuels and oils create fumes threatening to both living creatures and the natural environment. My uncle is now researching a way to recruit and convert the ever-so-cold temperatures into usable energy. The national penguin investigation team has also sent some penguins out to explore the Sahara Desert in search of further renewable energy. However sources tell us that maybe humans have discovered our presence in the desert. Humans have also fallen to the same conclusion, that renewable is the way of the future which could save our planet. They are also trying to find more sources of renewable energy and the most efficient way to put it to good use.
These changes throughout the world are done, hopefully to lengthen the life of this planet and every other thing on it. However, have we penguins done too much and made the humans noticed of our high intellect? This would be devastating to our kind, but we are willing, in order for this beautiful world to be seen by future generations and hopefully for them to preserved and looked after resulting in a fairy tale ending of happy ever afters.
