A personal view: Justice System

When I think about the horrific violence they made to the area, the capital, the monarchy, and Thailand as a whole, I feel terribly bad and really want them to be behind bar FOREVER. They deserve what they did to this beautiful country, don't they. Because they're rich enough to give the justice system some money to let them free to live their life as normal. Is that fair for the poor prisoners?

Are we having the justice system for the rich?
If we're rich enough, we would plan to do bad things and never forget to prepare a passport/visa and buy a flight ticket in time. They're doing like that these days to do harm to the country.
What ...do the justice system expect for their behaviour outside the custody? They're likely to get together and mastermind others to do harm to ordinary ppl who have neutral/ different political view.

Many of them said "they love democracy". Now, you broke the law, you SHOULD accept the penalty happily. The law is the part of democracy. Should you ask s/o to bail you out? (If yes, you're an idiot fake pro-democratic man who does more harm than good.)

I'm wondering "Is there any tycoon's money as a part of promise for doing the job? (social disobedience / destroying the econony / burning the city to be the sea of flame --- were these not bad enough?  Come on. The justice system should have the feeling as of the time that the crime had been done Not as of that in some months later.) Who knows?

We want a fair and standard justice system for ALL not for the rich.
It's going to be the same old game. THIS EXPLAINS WHY SOME PEOPLE DO NOT RESPECT THE LAW THAT LED TO THE UNCONTROLLABLE SOCIETY AND THE DISASTER IN LIVES AND PROPERTIES.

--------------------- If the justice system CANNOT punish the rich, the local mafia, or the powerful criminals, it fails.

--------------------- If a person said " it's about human rights and freedom", in that case, you should release ALL prisoners either poor or rich to go home and to celebrate this Christmas and New Year Days with their family and relatives.

The govt has already set up the plan of reducing social disparity (read the latest News!).  Above is another BIG social disparity!!!

Justice is not just a system (reads as a machine) serving (rich and powerful -- because they write laws of justice for) people. Justice is not an institution (reads as a culture) serving to balance out inequality among (poor and working -- because they are too busy earning a living everyday) people. No, justice is not a politico-economic social standard (that police, lawyers, judges in courts, warders of prisons and social commentators are to strive towards).

Justice is what we feel when we fail to justify our actions in other terms! ;-)

Do we consider 'justice' before we act (or say)?

Hi, SR.  Nice to have your visit again.

How's the weather in Maroochydore, Queensland?

Thank you for your thought on the word "Justice". Sounds quite dramatic to me.

I do prefer the one that is concrete enough for a society to hold on at a particular age and will serve its purpose as best as it can go.

;-) Hi

I should really have mentioned similar (to justice) concepts like 'random' (reads 'unbiased'), average (reads 'what we can reasonably expect') and 'norm' (reads 'standard'). Your personal justice (system) is a norm (or standard) that needs 'support' (reads 'enforcement'). We know that support is not 'standard'. My view of personal justice (system) is merely a 'self-balancing' mechanism that one (self) applies to maintain a certain 'integrity' of oneself. So, when we plan or do something, we look at our balance and others' balance. If all are in balance, we can say we uphold 'justice'. ;-)

Thanks for asking. QLD is 'wet and wild' at the moment. But have no fear, it will be perfect next ;-)

I'm happy to read your opinion, SR.  It's worthwhile!

I agree that the terms "norm", "standard", or "average" of oneself (or a group) may not good enough for justifying. Because there are lots of factors that can make them different and, therefore, some ppl may have their subtle versions.

"Justice" , which is the one you seemingly like; by the way of balancing all the involved parties, seems to sound reasonable. It also means that it's acceptable for me, even though it's really compromised among the groups in other words.

good to hear that you're full of hope for the good weather. I wish it would not take you long for the next perfect one to come. Merry X-mas.
