Definition of the marketing function  of   The  Day  Chocolate  company  is  set up to fill a gap in the market!  They  are  to have a strong business proposition - ours was simple and audacious - to provide people with a real choice; the chance to buy a bar of delicious, irresistible chocolate knowing that the farmers that grow the cocoa in Africa get the benefit of a better price and a chance to plan for the future.

      2. What are the key marketing objectives of the company?

       In  the  future  The  Day  Chocolate  company  will  shows  spacific  methrod  to  maxise  their  potential.

Firstly we will build the Divine brand by both launching a range. These seasonal novelties will showcase our Divine brand during peak sales of chocolate gifts such as during Christmas and Easter.

Secondly we aim to significantly increase our market distribution of the Dubble Chocolate bar in the UK impulse grocery sector.

These future plans will enable The Day Chocolate Company to continue to grow by market differentiation.

       3.What are the main market segments the company appears to be aiming at?

  • To take quality and affordable range of Fairtrade chocolate bars into the mainstream chocolate market
  • Raise awareness of Fairtrade issues among UK retailers and consumers of all ages

The  Day  Chocolate  company  need  to  help  the  farmers  that  grow  the  cocoa  in  Africa  set  the  benefit  of  a  better  price  and  a  chance  to  plan.

I  think,  The  Day  Chocolate company  get  to more than  benenifit  because  they  buy  cocoa  from  farmer  that  grow  the  cocoa.
