University of Melbourne
The World Tipitaka - the Romanised edition of the Theravada Buddhist scriptural canon - was recently presented as a royal gift of peace and wisdom to the University of Melbourne.
Members of the Dhamma Soceity of Thailand made a pilgrimage to Melbourne to present the Tipitaka, joining a ceremony and celebration with the University of Melbourne Thai Students Association, and members of the University and Melbourne Thai communities.
