Happy Anniversary

anniversary
November 15, 2007 is the 20th Anniversary of the lovely couple P'Nui and P'Noi. I've first met this couple 2 years ago on the trip to Beijing. Even that trip we had to travel with the lousy tour guide but the members in the group were all wonderful and the trip turned out to be so nice.
The first time I saw both of them I thought they were a newly wed couple joined this trip for honeymoon because what they acted and took care each other were really like what the new wed supposed to do. In fact, it's been 18 years already then. Both of them are so kind so friendly and we keep in touch since then.
So, on their 20th Anniversary, we were invited to join the dinner with them on Chaopraya Cruise, one of the luxury cruises; it is convenient, glamorous and classy decorated with applied Thai style which is refined, graceful, and unique. You will experience pleasant and warm Thai hospitality, full of friendliness and charm. When traveling with us, you will understand why we are known for “The truly exotic Thai cruise on the Chao Phraya River! (from www.chaoprayacruise.com)... We embarked at Sri-Praya Pier at 7 pm. The cruise off the convenient top-graded River City Pier for a cruise trip along the Chao Phraya to sightsee and get fascinated with humble Thai way of life along the riverbanks. Adding to the attractions are magnificent architectures standing elegant just before the river. For instance, the Temple of Dawn. The Grand Palace, the Suspension Rama VIII bridge, and a String of World-class Waterfront Hotels. Sit back and relax with toothsome foods and beverages with the live music. (again derived from www.chaoprayacruise.com)
However, the amazing and impressing part was not the view nor food but the 'Owner' himself. P'Nui introduced a middle-age guy to us and before we embarked. He is so kind and very polite, I didn't know who he is but I knew he's a very nice and humble guy. During dinner, I saw him walked around the ship all the time, kept an eye on the empty plates on the tables and took them away to clear the tables. He always 'Wai' before went in to clear the table, even 'Wai' me and Ann everytime he came in. What a polite guy. He also joined the dancing with the guests, kept on entertaining them all the way. Then, P'Noi told me that he is this cruise's owner and we were really stunning and impressed. This is the great example of the real richman who loves to provide the service to the customers. Not like most of the richmen I've read from the news or someone I knew. They are up in the sky, never come down to see or feel what really happening down here.
Any way, the dinner was really nice even there was a bit raining before the embarking time. We gave P'Nui and P'Noi the Qee-key chain collection (www.toy2r.com). I'm glad they love it.
