I join Khun Pornchai and many other of Professor Kanung's existing and former students and admirers in paying tribute to him as an exemplary figure in the legal academia. His unfailing kindness and devotion to nurturing the younger generations in their scholastic endeavours are unsurpassed. His limitless energy and patience make us wonder whether we are unkindly taking too much advantage of him. But any doubt about this is dispelled by his grandfatherly smile which says it all: 'I would be happy to help'. The least we can do in return is to follow his great example and hope that we can achieve a fraction of his accomplishment.
