การเกิดเป็นมนุษย์ ได้มาโดยยาก

ชีวิตของสัตว์ทั้งหลาย เป็นอยู่ลำบาก

การฟังธรรมของสัตบุรุษ หาได้ยาก

การเกิดขึ้น แห่งพระพุทธเจ้าทั้งหลาย หาได้ยาก

Hard is it to be born as a man,

Hard is the life of immortals,

Hard is it to hear the Truth Sublime,

Hard as well is the Buddha's rise.
