My friend-Khun Aek, Jatuporn...

You have done a good job krab...

I have previously learned counselling techniques when I did a specilist in mental health here in Perth.

However, a number of factors, such as client's emotional shock, your tactic knowledge in clinical prediction, was coming while you attempted to be a good listener.

It is not easy to be an effective counsellor....esp in one case diagnosed with HIV.

One technique I am suggesting you is to be a good follower on this case.

You may visit client or open him a chance to following up his decision making on how to cope in living with HIV.  It is meaningless if you just counselled only once time.

'Nothing is changed for an overall of his life...the issues can be addressed; for instance, how he is going to work and take a responsibility in his life and family....etc.

Please let me know if you got any problem on the counselling techniques....

Good luck to you krab....POP:)
