That's probably correct that you are not confident with Proteomics or DNA array. But I think high-throughtput tecniques are still the preliminary jobs for others. We need other technique for making confirmation for that. The heart of those tecniques is to see what is difference between normal condition and not normal condition. the resulting proteins MUST to be validated, definitely.

I have been working on proteomics for several years, proteomics keep going forward. Bioinformatics is extremely involved to proteomic work. And it is very important, it still keep being developed for proteomic work as well. I told you this because just let you know proteomic itself can not stand alone without proteomics. How make higher confident in proteomics, bioinformatics are the point that we have to develope it, parallel with proteomics leading to the validation of the function of  groups of proteins that we have found from preliminarily proteomics alone so that you could say that proteins of interesting are really believable. Anyhow, the proteins we found from proteomics usaully are high abundance proteins or house keeping proteins.
