I like the idea of the Bridge Cities joining two great Oceans, a great place to live and grow civilization (instead of industrial zone). The vision is something like the bridge linking the Pacific ocean to the Indian ocean, sunrise to sunset, mountains and forests to beaches and tropical islands, ancient histories to modern trends, East to West, and…

What we need is a plan for modern cities (of the future) with clean energy supply, residential infrastructure (water, roads, drainage, public spaces [parkland, wildlife reserves and recreation areas], hi-speed telecommunication links [to the world], transport hubs (land links, sea links, air links), and trade links, and so on. This development would attract more people, more sustainable and clean industries, more tourists and set a new standard for other city (of the future) developments. It can set a common goal for Thailand.

Lots of homework to do before we can say how much we should invest. But let’s move beyond a quick win and a polluted legacy. Our younger generations deserve better Thailand.
