I was told the queen (of native bees) is near where ‘empty cells’ are (so she can lay eggs) and usually has a lot of workers tending her needs. In AUS, there is a problem with ‘bee mites’ (parasitic micro insects) which reduce honey production.

I think ชันโรง is in the same family as native bees (in AUS; black, small bees, dark and thick honey).
