I think the Buddhists ‘aryasacca 4’ can be projected as a ‘general problem solving’ tool. It contains all necessary components for ‘learning’ and it is already very ‘well known’ (no need to learn new terminology). But it needs to be re-rendered and projected as a power tool with examples of uses.
