I read this “..อ่านนิทานให้ลูกฟังก่อนนอนเป็นกิจวัตร ให้ลูกได้เล่นอิสระ และมอบหมายงานให้ทำตามวัย..” many times and could not leave it out of my mind. It assumes that parents know which books are good or not so good, which plays or games, and which chores… For examples I would worry about ‘Jack and the Bean Stalk’ (A boy traded against parents’ wishes, later stole and eventually killed for his own benefits), there are concerns over ‘games on internet’, excessive force against other players in football fields (for 4 years old children), reports on child labor are common among low income families.
In most families, parental love would be sufficient. But there could be exceptions arising from difficult and uncertain financial and psychological circumstances that ‘help’ would be beneficial for the children.
