I am impressed by the narrative. This is education should be about.
[Though in my own ‘theory’, I use the 5 Khandhas (ขันธ์ ๕: รูป เวทนา สัญญา สังขาร และวิญญาณ) as the pattern. So learning starts with sense contacts, and progresses to impression, recognition, connection and naturalization. ‘Enlightenment’ or understanding comes in half way between connection and naturalization - once we can connect a learning into our knowledge and skill net (what we know and do), over applications in time the ‘new’ learning ‘settles’ in the ecology (the net) and ‘it becomes part of our nature’.
I think this pattern is very well known (among Buddhists) and offers a familiar set of ‘checkpoints’ for learning.]
