I think we do have to take into considerations in projecting life in C21, the human trait and tendency for self-interest (from survival and greediness point-of-views) and technological advances (such as the Net and AI - offering powerful tools to exploit other people’s weaknesses). Altruism or optimism based projections and solutions have been failing time and time again - so cannot be depended on.
