A very good ‘learning aid’!

I would differentiate ‘wood’ as fuel to burn and generate heat to cook raw material ‘wood’ into charcoal. So that wood with certain properties are sacrificed as fuel to enhance value of wood with another set of properties. To use the same wood for both roles seems less than than optimal. ;-)
