Buddhadasa, which was linked to your former blog describing a study by Abigail Marsh (as attached below) and published in the Scientific American Mind.She studied the sizes of amygdala in psychopath and those with altruistic background and showed larger sizes in the latter group.I wonder whether those who practiced altruistic meditation which has been emphasized in Mahayana Buddhism also had larger amygdala?Study of the mind should also be augmented by functional and physiological tests on brain structures, not only on anatomical property alone - I guess.Fascinating and thank you for your blogs.Prida
