I have noted many young(er) ‘workers’ operating 3 or 4 things at the same time. For an example – an employment agent with a client sitting in front of the desk, she can listen to the client, entering details on the keyboard, while looking up the monitor for protocol information on a panel (1 of 4 panels being displayed), asking questions and switching to answering her phone – all very smoothly.

That’s is what modern young people can do –multi-tasking– and some can do that very well. Comparing to oldies like me who can do mostly 1 single thing at a time. And I need to to turn my focus on before I can do that 1 thing. The age of Dinosaurs is gone. ;-)
