Many world problems (climate change, poverty, slavery, employment, pollution, …) rise from the lack of considerations for human-vs-nature values. (Human sets the values by her/his own ‘belief’ of course. Nature simply reacts to impacting phenomena in accordance to its own natural laws (call it Physics).

Another classic example of Man against Nature - where ‘winning’ is also a Man’s vanity - big and important in his own mind.
