It seems unfortunate that we use one meaning of the verb ‘bear’ a lot more than its traditional (prime) meaning. That is

to bear : to have, to carry, to hold, to cause to be born (here is where we decline the verb for tenses - ‘bear’, bore, born) or to bring forth something (not just babies),… These are the more common used meaning for ‘bear’. To put up or to endure someone/thing we dislike is the meaning we take to heart. And that is the cause of our confusion.

Your ‘..โดย “bear” หมายถึง “การยอมทนต่อบางสิ่ง”ปกติ เป็นบางสิ่ง ที่ไม่ชอบ โดยส่วนใหญ่ใช้ในวลี “can’t bear”..’ is an example of that.

In contrast we do see a lot more of “A tree bears fruits’, ‘our hard work comes to bear result’, ‘I bear an armour’ [bear = wear],.. and of course the noun ‘bear’ for that big strong fearsome animal such as a polar bear or a cute teddy bear.
