I think ‘you’ value ‘democracy’ too much. Democracy is merely a human convention of no formal definition. Democracy is a tool for and a justification for assuming ‘power’ over ordinary people. There is little verifiable proof that democracy improves people’s lives and living conditions or even so called ‘human rights’ (wishes).

Let us not put another straw in the fire. We have already too much fire, smoke and PM2.5. Our bigger problems are (our environment) of the place we live and any sociopolitical regime that reduces our ‘dukkha’ is fit for survival.
