Dear ‘ยายธี’,
I have been trained to think in a particular way (a thinking ‘habit’?). I see the world of ‘free will’ and ‘fate’ (in math: ‘greedy and random’ or ‘order and chaos’) modes. We stay in comfort zone at times and jump in a unknown pond at other times. Do we know (in advance) which mode we will decide? Why should we worry about where our next step when we know where we go? Our most venerable Buddha tells of ultimate truth (birth, build, bump, break cycle) that no ‘composite’ (constructed) thing is forever. (‘Law of Nature’ is not constructed truth.) And He advises us to learn not to dwell in Dukkha and its causes. IMHO, a morning cuppa if it is a pleasure (Sukha) then why should we turn it into a dukkha by worrying about it?
I’m working hard to make more time for play (with clays, colours, and cooking- chemistry). Incidentally, I have to go 4-6 m deep into my dams to get some clay to pay with ;-). But there are more things handier ;-) ;-) ;-)
