There are (possibly intended) confusion in labelling ‘food nutritional value’. For example: Salt (NaCl) is labelled as ‘Sodium’ (Na) instead of salt (NaCl).

To see a little clearer: 1 teaspoon of salt is about 5000 mg (5 g)1 teaspoon of salt contains about 2000 mg (2 g) of Sodium (Na) and 3000 mg of Cl

Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) for Sodium (Na) : 2300 mg (about 1 teaspoon of salt)

We should label ‘salt’ as salt for benefits of people. (Not as Na for manufacturers.)

Incidentally 1700 mg - 5100 mg of Chlorine (Cl in NaCl) per day is needed for making our digestive acid (weak/~10% HCl). That also says we should limit our salt to 1 teaspoon per day.

Please help make food labelling for people (not health professionals).
