I think ‘quantum computer’ is very much in the same area as artificial intelligence (AI) and natural language processing (NL) - long history of promises and disappointments; slow progress needing ‘quantum leaps’ and ‘innovations’. It is very much the same as “what I could do IF I HAD …”.

We can be waiting for long while before we see ‘out of the lab’ quantum computers. In the meanwhile, super computers are realizable and within affordable costs for Thailand’s universities and government departments. Super computers are useful for developments for Thailand 4.0 (for the next 10-15 years) and perhaps beyond. Skills and resources in high/advanced computing can be built up NOW. We don’t have to wait to buy quantum computers.
