I read a book “Microbe power” by Brian J. Ford (1976 ed) and had been fascinated for over 30 years. I have since narrowed my interest to ‘roles of microbes in forest regeneration’. (I think microbes can be employed to help with re-fertilizing farmland by making available ‘minerals’ to lands, waters and plants – with various ‘fixing’ microbes: nitrogen fixers, potassium fixers, phosphorus…)
The basic idea is consistent with bio-fertilization (ปุ๋ยหมัก) and sustainable farming. Microbes can be a key factor in feeding the world in this century.
