I have a comment on 'democrat' (from Greek 'demos' = people/citizen of a state + 'kratos' = power).

I think this:

“democracy” ว่าคือ “การปกครองแบบประชาธิปไตย” หมายถึง

(ประเทศที่มี) รูปแบบการปกครอง (form of government) ที่ซึ่ง ประชาชนมีอิสระในการเลือก ตัวแทน เข้าไปปกครองพวกเขา = (people freely elect representative to govern them)

is a modern model of a manifesto for exercising people's power. (Modern) election is used to determine 'majority' (not necessary people's wishes) [democracy in a true sense would be for "all" people - not just majority] thus democracy and election are just a 'compromise' for a benefit of 'some' people.
