Among Buddhists, the 'right view' is the foundation of good 'kamma' (both action and intention). The right view can be cultivated by building (repeating/practicing) simple habits such as 'mingle with good friends', 'keep siila (disciplinary conducts - especially the 5th one that helps us keep the other siila), 'practice the right path',... That is we have an all-round principle that we all have already learned 'in words' but we have not applied!
