A few days ago, there were heavy rains and flooding in many places in Southeast Queensland. Schools were closed. Businesses were closed. Workers were asked to stay home. People were offered free public transport to get back home. That was just good emergemcy management - with the main aim of people's safety first before properties protection. Thailand's free trains (I think) are aimed at reducing road congestion (for trucks to get through quickly).
I hope that tree can manage to 'escape the trains' - especially the high speed trains that will need more tracks and more safety zones (track shoulders) on both sides. Perhaps it is time to register that tree as a 'national treasure' so it can live forever! I support the petition!
