Thanks for the 'review' of Al Gore's new book 'The Future'.

I am picky I'd like to 'Al Gore' (for Albert Arnold "Al" Gore Jr) instead of 'ALGORE' (without even a space between AL and GORE).

And perhaps a bttter explanation of 'Big Data'. I would say the idea (or concept) of big data to 'derive' (or in computerese 'mine') useful information from large amount of data (items). In particular, data collected from various 'sensors' (or 'meters') in places and times.

Processing big data is about finding (common) 'patterns' (or 'regularities' of interest or 'correlations' between entities of in terest). Because of the amount of sata and complex mathematics, super-computers are needed to mine possible useful information [note the word here -- we go from 'data' (pieces of encoded facts or measurements) to 'information' (principle or theory that approximates and predicts the behaviour of 'system' of interest)].

But hey! Saying things in English that people may not understand is worse than saying things not precisely enough in Thai. ;-)
