Too much love --> too many people (less other lifeforms -- materials are limited ;-).

"...เวรระงับได้..ด้วยการไม่จองเวร..." interested me many many moons ago. I asked some grade 6 students (in a class) and most of them understood เวร as กรรม (as in เวรกรรม); some offered another meaning: เข้าเวร ออกเวร - รอบผลัดในหน้าที่การงาน. Not many knew เวร as ความพยาบาท/ความปองร้าย as in เวรย่อมระงับด้วยการไม่จองเวร.

So in a way we could understand that "duty stops by not booking duty" ;-)
