It is hard to 'find the way of the middle' -- the way that neither 'sukha' nor 'dukkha' but 'upekkha'. We "love" sukkha and try our best to avoid dukkha. Yes! We -- everyone (arahants excepted) will chose sukha any time any place in whatever form.

To a lot of people "dying" is the final release (from bondage or attachment), But to many people, we live from one "jaati" to another "jaati" until our "kamma" runs out of steam (no more "fire" to power our life then we become extinguished.

I am not smart I don't know when my fire will go out, so I live on hoping to be in good place, receiving good fruits (of my work) and enjoying happiness as it comes.
