Eyes are just light sensors, images are (possibly) built by (and for) brain based on "filters" we develope over years of experiences. Here is a simple simile -- หนังตะลุง ;-)

I wonder about this "...คบคนแน่ ดูแม่ยาย..." I think you mean 'mother and granny' not 'mother-in-law" ;-)
