I hear that reforestation (growing new forests to replace old forests) is a big business. Government incentives help to speed up cutting down of old forests so that reforestation proposals are approved with government grants.

Guess what they grow in new forests --- rubber and eucalypt trees --- nothing that wildlife can live on.
