May I offer a food for thought. If we live in virtue (doing only good) for a short while then we die, would we not move quicker ahead in our next live? In comparison, people who live long and have more time to do good and evil, would they not repay slowly their kamma?

For me I live and learn. Each moment as it comes is another chances to change for another better non-self. ;-)
