I wonder if there is a public structure "named" in his honour?

If not why not? Should his descendants be looking for such memorial?

Should we look at setting a visual sign/icon to signify his contribution in each and every place he was involved in development?

This could be come a historical route (of waypoints and chronological references) for studying history and arts of his time.
